Off-Campus Access

If you live off-campus, you need to set up your computer so that our system recognizes you as a student.  You should only have to do this once on each computer you use, unless you make changes such as adding virus protection, firewalls, etc.  Once you've completed the process, you will have access to all online resources by entering your TigerTracks login.

Additional Information for Off-Campus Students:

Once you have reconfigured your browser for off-campus access, when you click on a database title you should either 1)see a gray box asking for a username and password--enter your TIGERTRACKS login, or 2)be able to get directly into the database.

If you see a different type of login screen, or your TigerTracks login is not accepted, go through the Troubleshooting steps above.  If you are still unable to get into the databases, call the CTC Help Desk at 785-628-5276.

Using LINKSOURCE from off-campus:

LinkSource is a way to search our databases for the full-text of an article, when it is not available in the database you are currently searching. If Linksource asks for a username and password, call 785-628-5283.

If LinkSource does not find the full-text, consult the chart below for additional ways to locate the article.

NOTE:  If you need an article that is not available in full-text and you live OUTSIDE the HAYS AREA, you can utilize Distance Services to request the material.
